At last year’s Pestival at the Aotea Centre, we were asked if we’d hold smaller versions for people living at either end of the Auckland region so that everyone could attend. We’re very excited to be able to say YES! We’d like to have as many local projects, groups and organisations as possible represented, so please share this email with others you think may like to come. Rodney Pestival 22 June, Warkworth Town Hall, 10am-4pm Franklin Pestival 29 June, Waiuku Community Hall, 10am-4pm Register here
At both pestivals you’ll:
meet like-minded people and hear how other landowners are nurturing native plants and animals on their properties
showcase community-led conservation activity
join the dots – find out what else is going on in your back yards and who’s doing it
troubleshoot trap lines and other pesty problems
find out the latest on conservation community hubs
The pestival programme is designed by members of your own community and is a mix of presentations and discussions by environmental groups, mana whenua and agencies. Don’t worry, there’s plenty of time for good chats to share ideas and learn from others’ experiences. If you’d like to attend either the Rodney Pestival or the Franklin Pestival 2019, please click the button above to complete your registration. And don’t forget to share this email with others you think may like to join in. Registrations close: Rodney Pestival - Friday 14 June Franklin Pestival - Friday 21 June See you there!
